# Figma

> Connect Figma so Coverage can fetch designs with a personal access token.

# 🎨 Figma (team feature)

Use a Figma personal access token so Coverage agent can read your files in Figma Mode and PRD + Figma Mode. The Integrations page shows a Figma card—click **Configure** the first time, or **Update** after you’ve saved credentials.

## What you need

* **Figma Access Token** (team-level)
* A Figma file link with at least **Can view** access granted to the token identity
* Access to **Settings → Integrations → Figma**

## Create a Figma access token

1. In Figma, open your profile menu → **Settings**.
2. Scroll to **Personal access tokens** and click **Generate new token**.
3. Select the scopes **file\_content:read**, **file\_metadata:read**, and **file\_version:read**.
4. Give it a name (e.g., “Nota Coverage”), then copy the token shown once.
5. Save the token securely; you cannot view it again.

## Add the token in Nota

1. Open **Integrations** in the left nav and select the **Figma** card.
2. Paste the personal access token into the **Figma Access Token** field.
3. Save. Coverage runs will use this token automatically—no environment variable or redeploy required.

> 🔁 Rotate regularly. If you regenerate the token in Figma, update the **Figma Access Token** field in Integrations to avoid fetch failures.
